About Us
We’re the team working behind Buy Me a Coffee and Voicenotes - simple, meaningful tools that help people create, share, and get supported for their work.
We’re a small crew proud of what we build, and never satisfied until it’s our best. We’re here to help people - every creator, thinker, and doer - make life a little better
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, product-minded Community and Content Manager who can take ownership of how our product is positioned, communicated, and presented to the world. Voicenotes started as a consumer product, but a large part of our focus now is teams and companies, so this role covers both audiences.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable coming up with creative ideas, writing compelling content, building communities, and thinking deeply about the product and its users. You'll work closely with the product, design, and sales teams to turn product features and ideas into content that people want to read, watch, share, and talk about. You'll also own our community presence and have customer support team members reporting to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the community and content strategy for the product.
- Build customer engagement around product launches, new features, updates, and key announcements.
- Write and oversee creative blogs, product stories, website copy, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media content.
- Turn complex product features into simple, engaging, and relatable stories.
- Define positioning and messaging for different audiences, from an individual user to a company evaluating us for their whole team.
- Own the coordination of website, announcement, email, and documentation that goes with feature releases.
- Build sales enablement material: product one-pagers, enterprise overview, demo narrative, pricing explanation, and objection handling.
- Define and maintain a strong brand voice and tone across all communication.
- Work closely with the product team to understand user problems, product features, and upcoming launches.
- Identify interesting stories, trends, and conversations that can be connected to the product.
- Own our community presence on Reddit, X, and LinkedIn, and grow it into a real channel rather than a broadcast feed.
- Turning product ideas into campaigns that attract attention, bring in users and teams, and strengthen the brand. It also means our community, reviews, and support replies all sound like the same company.
- Set the quality bar for customer support: write and maintain SOPs, review response quality, and manage one customer support team member.
- Build content that helps with user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
