About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer-Backend to build, improve, and scale a modern web platform. You’ll work on developing new features, optimizing performance, and solving real-world technical challenges.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Growth, and Support, contributing to both product decisions and technical direction. You’ll be involved in design discussions, code reviews, and end-to-end development.

Responsibilities

• Building features on Voicenotes and its ecosystem.
• Enhancing and maintaining the existing platform.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Actively involved in your design discussions and reviews with the team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of Design, Growth, and Support.
• Participate in an agile delivery process, and as part of that help size stories and own, research, and recommend new solutions

Requirements

• Experience in designing, building, and troubleshooting scalable web applications (Product Company Experience is a plus)
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework
• Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
• Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec)
